The three bars in our logo are no mistake. They represent People, Planet and Profits—a Triple Bottom Line. We have always strived to balance the three priorities and it is our belief that our adherence to this mission is the reason for our success in a field full of hungry competition.

Our industry is much maligned for its singular driven purpose to create profits. While profits are important, what many of our peers in this industry have forgotten is that it will be no good to enjoy these profits if the people who helped generate them don’t like you and the planet we live on becomes uninhabitable. You can have all the money in the world, but with no healthy place to live and no community with which to enjoy those profits, we believe life will be quite disappointing.

This combination of focus is what makes MJ Everson Financial unique and explains why we have become one of the most respected financial planning firms in Sonoma County.

Just as we focus on our Triple Bottom Line to make our business a success, we see three parties involved in financial planning: the client, the advisor and the companies with which your investments are placed. Among those three, we feel the client should benefit first and foremost. We are consistently developing strategies and scenarios that reflect that philosophy.

This consistent philosophy produces consistent results.  Our oldest clients tell us this is why they have stayed with us through good and bad times. And our newly referred clients are often surprised and refreshed by our unique approach to business.

We pay great attention to our clients' individual needs and give advice appropriate to their own unique circumstances.  We focus on developing financial plans that employ sustainable strategies for our clients.  Our triple-bottom line criteria are once again applied to our planning process.  We strive to bring balance to an often very unbalanced investment world focused on profits and only profits.  While the focus is on achieving your planning goals we do not believe this happens in a vacuum.

We believe our job only begins when you make your visit, and it continues long after in the form of reviews, updates and being available to you by phone or in person when you have questions or concerns about your investments.  Our commitment to you is not lip-service - we will be here for you when you need us.  We don't expect your referrals if we do not honor this commitment.

We are a completely paperless office.  Our clients are encouraged to adopt e-mail for statements.  Our office keeps no paper. Everything is scanned.  Inks for printing are sourced for environmental friendliness. Our paper and note cards are on recycled stock.  We ride our bikes to the office.  We make every effort we can to reduce our footprint in an eco-unfriendly industry.
